Tubi Style Exhaust for the Ferrari F430

The Tubi Style Evolution system for the Ferrari F430 was created in response to the widely-held complaint that the standard exhaust lacks the high-pitched howl possessed by previous Ferrari V8-engined models. In addition, the F430's original exhaust system has also suffered many problems related to unwanted vibration and the mounting system. This has often resulted in recalls to prevent, among other issues, exhaust tips breaking off and silencer support brackets cracking.

In response to the continued demand from owners to make their F430s sound more like the Ferraris of old, and the need for a design solution to end the reliability issues relating to the original exhaust, Tubi have radically redesigned their F430 sports exhaust from the ground up.

The single-muffler layout has been abandoned in favour of two separate mufflers to individually silence each bank of the V8. The entire system is mounted on a Tubi-made system which attaches to the gearbox casing. Sturdy brackets with rubber mountings are used to suspend each silencer to dampen natural vibrations and the movements of the engine, thereby finally ending the countless end-tip problems associated with Ferrari's original exhaust. The silencers themselves are small and lightly baffled to maintain the F430's original volume level. They are also positioned longitudinally behind the rear bumper.

Perhaps even more importantly, the Evolution's configuration was initially inspired for aural reasons, and brings the F430's exhaust tone much closer to that of the legendary Tubi-equipped Ferrari 355 and 360. It must be noted that Tubi have managed to do this in spite of the F430's absence of a 5-valve-per-cylinder layout, its enlarged engine capacity and enlarged catalytic converters.

The new Tubi is a radical departure from the sound produced by any single-muffler layout by any manufacturer. It's sweeter, sharper and most crucially, has that slightly higher pitch, finally getting F430 owners closer to that howling scream.

The Tubi Style Evolution System is available with valves, catering for those who would like the volume to be kept very sedate at low RPMs, but who still want to enjoy the benefits of the Tubi when applying the throttle and reaching the higher end of the rev range.

The Tubi Style Evolution system for the Ferrari F430 is also available in a specially built Slienziata version. This more silenced version of the Evolution was designed for those who wanted the performance and tonal improvement offered by the Tubi, whilst also being able to access some of the most stringent (with regards to noise restrictions) track days in Europe.

Test-Pipes and Sport Catalysts are also available for the F430 for those who are looking to increase power and/or volume.
